THE ARTIST · IN THE STUDIOOut of the shadows.
James Langton graduated from the Limerick School of Art & Design.
He has worked for over 40 years in advertising for some of the world’s top brands in Frankfurt, Berlin, London, Paris, Vienna and New York.
Alongside his career in advertising, James has continuously drawn, sketched and painted. He has now stepped out of the shadows and begun his career as a full-time artist.
James spends much of his time sketching and painting in watercolour, oils and acrylics around the Beara Peninsula. But he is not just a landscape painter or a realist: he also likes to experiment with materials and abstraction.
